7^th Charity Motor Cycle Run/Meet

There will be a run this year on 2nd Oct 2011

Start Point: Budgens CAR PARK Hedge End SO30 4DY

Destination: POPHAM AIRFIELD

Meet Time: 09:30am leaving the Hedge End at 10:15am

There will of course be hot food and refreshments at Popham.

News of other attractions TBC.

Marshaling will again be arranged by The Suzuki Owners Club South Coast Crew, although additional marshals may volunteer on the day.

We Raised over a grand last time so please help make this one even bigger!!!

2010 Run cancelled due to illness. Sorry, but we hope to be back on for 2011.

1st stop on the A272, 108 bikes in total, they actually keep going round the bend

As a motorcyclist (or not) you can probably appreciate the enormous benefits that an air ambulance can provide to the whole county, for a lot of unfortunate people an air ambulance is the difference between life and death, saving vital travel time between the incident and specialist emergency care and treatment at hospital. So it is surprising for most to hear that the air ambulance service has no government funding and rely solely on kind donations from the public and events such as this to keep them in the air and saving lives.

This year, we will again be raising money for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance!

As a motorcyclist (or not) you can probably appreciate the enormous benefits that an air ambulance can provide to the whole county, for a lot of unfortunate people an air ambulance is the difference between life and death, saving vital travel time between the incident and specialist emergency care and treatment at hospital. So it is surprising for most to hear that the air ambulance service has no government funding and rely solely on kind donations from the public and events such as this to keep them in the air and saving lives. 

Ride out to Thruxton!

Ride out to Thruxton, meeting at Botley Mill (SO30 2GB) at 9:30am to leave at 10am prompt.

Non motorway route, learners and all abilities welcome!

Bike meet at Thruxton!

(perfect if you don't fancy the Ride out)

Provided she is not out on a call, the Air Ambulance will be waiting for us complete with crew on stand-by

There will also of course be another Hog Roast Serving from 12:30pm sponsored by A Hampshire Hog and refreshments available from 11am.

NEWS: The run this year was a great success with over 80 Bikes in attendance, thanks to all involved, final count figures are on there way, thanks to the crew for flying in for a bite to eat!
